Karnataka: RSS-run schools asks students demolish a poster of the Babri Masjid as part of a school function.

At Sri Rama Vidya Kendra High School in Kalladka, Karnataka, students were forced to demolish a Babri Masjid poster during a School Day function. The school, owned by RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, has been accused of indoctrinating students with Islamophobia and other undemocratic beliefs. It is not the first time that a school run by the RSS was accused of indoctrinating its students with Islamophobia and other undemocratic, unconstitutional and intolerant beliefs. Bhonsala Military School in Nagpur has been linked to Hindu extremist attacks in the past, with training camps and meetings for bombings planned there by senior RSS leaders.

Currently, Vidya Bharati runs 12,828 formal schools across India with more than 3.4 million students enrolled in these schools and runs more than 6,400 informal education centers called 'Sanskar Kendras'. The curriculum of these schools is designed to promote communal hatred and produce RSS footsoldiers.
