He asserted that the BJP cannot be accountable for the construction of the Ram temple at the Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya. Kamal Nath pointed out that Rajiv Gandhi was responsible for unlocking the locks of the temporary Ram temple at the Babri Masjid site, "Let us not overlook history," he said.
