In Maharashtra, a tragic train shooting claimed four lives, with the assailant, Chetan Singh, a police officer of Railway Protection Force (RPF), openly endorsing divisive leaders Modi and Adityanath. The officer’s political stance became evident in a viral video of the aftermath.

Casualties: The victims of the incident included RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector Tikaram Meena, Abdul Kadar, 64, Asgar Abbas Ali, 48, and Syed Saifullah. The killer, seen in a video, declared allegiance to Modi and Yogi while standing next to a blood-soaked body.

State Intervention: Muslim organizations, united under the United Sangharsh Morcha in Jaipur, demanded compensation, a government job, and residence for the family of victim Asgar Ali. They issued a seven-day ultimatum, warning of mass protests if demands were unmet. Congress MLA Rafeeq Khan joined the protest, urging the Union government to take stringent action against Chetan Singh. An immediate collection of Rs 1 lakh was made to support the victim's family. The fatal shooting was condemned by Muslim groups, Opposition parties, and rights activists, labeling it “cold-blooded murders” and a “targeted attack against Muslims.”
