Karnataka: Cow vigilantes murder Muslim cattle trader, demand money, tell him to "go back to Pakistan"
Location: Ramanagara, Karnataka
Five cow vigilantes lead by the main accused, Puneeth Kerehali chased and beat a Muslim cattle trader Idrees Pasha resulting in his death. They asked Pasha to “Go Back to Pakistan.” The cow vigilantes demanded Rs 2 lakh from Pasha in order to let him go. Pasha’s family also dismissed the allegations of smuggling and presented receipts of cattle purchase before The Quint.
