Uttar Pradesh: Muslim couple murdered over their son's relationship with a Hindu girl.

In Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur, a Muslim couple, Abbas and Kamrul Nisha, were brutally beaten to death with iron rods and sticks by their neighbours in the village of Rajeypur. The incident occurred on under the jurisdiction of the Hargaon Police Station. The reason behind the murder was an affair between the couple’s son and the daughter of one of the accused. The son had been incarcerated following a complaint by the girl’s father, and upon his recent release from jail, members of the girl’s family allegedly orchestrated the fatal attack on the couple.

Casuality:

Abbas and Kamrul Nisha succumbed to the attack and died on the spot. The vicious assault was reportedly calculated, driven by the accused family’s anger over the relationship between the victims’ son and their daughter. The tragic incident reflects the severity of inter-family disputes and the consequences of such tensions within the community.

State Action:

Following the incident, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. The Sitapur Superintendent of Police, Chakresh Mishra, stated that the murder was a result of the complex dynamics involving the romantic relationship between the victims’ son and the accused family’s daughter.
