Uttar Pradesh: Muslim Man Assaulted, Forcibly Tonsured, and Made to Chant "Jai Shri Ram”
A Muslim youth was tied to a tree and brutally assaulted by three Hindu men over suspicion of mobile phone theft in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr. The Muslim man’s head was tonsured, and the assailants forced him to chant “Jai Shree Ram,” a Hindutva war cry. The victim was identified as Sahil, a daily wage worker.
The video of the incident quickly went viral and led to the arrest of two accused men in connection with the matter.
