National: Civil society organizations release a report critical of NDA government's anti-minority governance

On Monday, Wada Na Todo Abhiyan, a campaign comprising over 3000 Civil Society Organizations aimed at promoting governance accountability and amplifying the needs and voices of marginalized communities, released a report reviewing the governance of the second NDA government from 2019 to 2023.

The report primarily not only focused on economic and social rights but also extended its review to encompass the status of civil rights, including freedom of expression, freedom of life, and freedom of liberty. It addressed the challenges faced across sectors and communities, particularly in the context of shrinking civic space.
