Uttar Pradesh: Hindu mob lynches Muslim man during Dussehra celebrations

A 25-year-old Muslim man named Irshad Mohammad died in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district after being brutally assaulted by a Hindu mob during Dussehra celebrations. The incident occurred when Irshad's bike accidentally hit someone in the reveling group. Following a minor argument, a group attacked Mohammad, causing him to hit his head on a stone. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead. The police have identified five individuals involved and plan to make arrests. Tensions rose in the village, prompting the deployment of additional police to prevent further disturbances.
