Bihar: Muslim Man Lynched Ahead of Eid-al-Adha, Police Passively Watch
Muhammad Zahiruddin, a 55-year-old Muslim truck driver was lynched to death in Bihar’s Saran district by Hindu mob who claimed his freight of cattle bones, a raw material for making capsules for medicines, was beef.
The Muslim man could not run away because he had fractured one of his legs a few years ago and undergone surgery for the insertion of a stainless steel rod. The deceased was a resident of Majhwalia village under Gaura outpost.
Eye witness told media persons that the lynching took place in front of some cops from Jalalpur police station who had reached there.
