Delhi: Muslim student attacked and threatened at gunpoint on Jamia Hamdard campus
On November 3rd, two men forcefully tied up a 20-year-old Muslim student inside a restroom at Jamia Hamdard in Delhi after threatening her at gunpoint. According to her statement to the police, she was studying in the library when she heard a noise coming from the restroom. Upon investigating, she encountered two individuals armed with a pistol. They proceeded to threaten her, causing her to collapse. Upon regaining consciousness, she discovered that her limbs had been tied with a scarf.
On November 4th, an FIR was filed under sections of molestation, wrongful confinement, acts endangering life, and the Arms Act. However, as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
