BJP politician Sandeep Dayma apologized after receiving backlash for his remarks at a public event that he "wanted to say Masjid-Madrasa, but somehow said Gurdwara."

Dayma called on the people to support Baba Balaknath, the BJP candidate, who would ban Gurdwaras from Tijara.
Following the condemnation of the hate speech by Sikh groups, the BJP leader released an apology video in which he said, "Gurdwara" instead of "masjid."
