Kashmir: Family accuses army of fatally shooting Muslim policeman
On October 31, 20-year-old Uzma Gul discovered her father, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, lying in a pool of blood after hearing gunshots while cleaning her house in Wailoo village, Tangmarg, Kashmir. He was shot at point-blank range by the army. Uzma alleges that an army vehicle passing by fired the fatal shots. Dar, a policeman of 25 years, was well-regarded in the community for his amiable nature and religious contributions.
