Unsupported block (bookmark)Shakuntala Nataraj, a BJP Member, has been arrested by the Karnataka Police for allegedly spreading misinformation on social media regarding the display of a Pakistani flag in Lulu Mall in Kochi. Nataraj falsely claimed, in a post on [platform not mentioned], that the Pakistani flag at the mall was larger and positioned above the Indian flag. The mall had actually put up flags of all countries participating in the ongoing cricket World Cup. Fact-checkers revealed that the photo was from a mall in Kochi and the perceived discrepancy was due to the angle from which the picture was taken.
