Bihar: Muslim woman and youth attacked by mob during Ram Navami rally

Location: Rampur Bakhri village, Muzaffarpur, Bihar

A woman named Shabana and a boy who accompanied her were beaten by a group of 10-12 people who were part of a Ram Navami rally. They shouted slogans like “Mulle kaate jayenge” which translates to “Muslims will be sawed/cut.” The group passed lewd comments on the woman. A man named Ashraf who passed by was also attacked by the same armed group with the butt of a handgun on his head. Ashraf identified a few people from the mob. Some of the youth in the mob are associated with the Bajrang Dal.
