Uttarakhand: Chief Minister warns against illegal religious structures, alleges "Land Jihad" conspiracy

Details: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on 7th of April said that he will not tolerate Land Jihad or forced conversion of land ownership in Uttarakhand. In a public gathering, the Chief Minister said that his government will not tolerate illegally constructed “tombs” and “Mazaars” and that over 1000 such sites have been identified for demolition in the state. Land Jihad is another conspiracy theory like Love Jihad wherein Muslims are accused of land grabbing and considering it a religious struggle. He alleged that there is a demographic imbalance and forced conversions as well.
