Delhi: Enforcement Directorate raids residence of Muslim AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a money-laundering raid at the Delhi residence of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan on Tuesday. The action follows ED's attention to corruption allegations in appointments to the Delhi Waqf Board, where Khan serves as the chairman, as mentioned in FIRs by the Delhi Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Khan, representing the Okhla constituency, saw heavy security deployment during the ongoing raids. Amanatullah Khan had previously been arrested by the ACB in a case related to alleged irregularities in appointments and misuse of funds as the Delhi Waqf Board chairman but was later granted bail by the court.
