Madhya Pradesh: Notices Issued to Muslim Families for Demolition of Properties in followed by anti-Muslim violence
On October 1st, the Dhar administration in Kukshi, Madhya Pradesh, issued notices to seven Muslim families demanding the submission of property documents and construction permissions within 24 hours. The notices, dated September 29, warned of the demolition of houses deemed illegal constructions if the required documents were not presented. This move follows violent incidents during Ganapati Visarjan processions on September 27, where shops owned by Muslims were set on fire and vehicles were torched by Hindutva groups.
